Lombok diving safari - 10 days

Bali is one of the world´s most beautiful travel destinations. Known for its rich culture, amazing surf spots and its magnificent tropical underwater world, you can dive Bali on a steel shipwreck, or on a wooden shipwreck, off vertical dropoffs, over sand slopes, in shark caves or volcanic outdrops, in roaring currents, in quiet bays and along deep coral – covered ridges. All tastes are accommodated here, from snorkeling to drift diving to see the most famous pelagics in Bali: Molas- Molas (Sun fish).

Sample program

1st day - embarkation

• in the afternoon / evening hours (depending on the arrival) transfer from airport to the harbour and embarkation onboard Sea Lady. Time for a short introduction to the facilities of our boat, the diving operation and the tour program.
• sunset dinner and overnight passage to our first stop at Nusa Lembongan (Nusa Penida)

2nd day – Nusa Lembongan/ Nusa Penida

• there is incredible diving and not always an easy task. Drop-offs and steep slopes bustle with hard corals have an impressive tremendous diversity of marine life includes many of the more exciting, larger pelagics, including sun fish, napoleon wrasses, manta and eagle rays. Currents are unpredictable and often fierce.
• possiblity of visiting the island, white sandy beaches, Mangrove forest
• overnight passage to Gili Trawangan

3rd day – Gili Trawangan / Gili Meno

• coral slopes and sandy bottom, some walls, good variety and fair amount of corals, some bombing damage, good variety and number of fish, reef white tip shark, turtles...
• possibility of visiting inland of the islands, local bars or markets
• evening pasage to Telok Naare Bay, anchoring

4th day - full day trip at Lombok island

• while anchoring at Telok Naare we take the opportunity of visiting Lombok and its most spectacular waterfalls (Sindangille Waterfalls) situated at the foot of the highest Lombok volcano - Mt. Rinjani (3 726 m) – a jungle trip
• on the way back we stop at traditional Sasak village. Sasaks - original residents of Lombok.
• overnight passage do Tulamben Bay

5th - 6th day – Tulamben Bay / Kubu

• one of Bali´s most popular diving site is the US Liberty wreck. The Japanese torpedoed it during World War II in the Bali Sea. A macro delight, it is one of the safest wrecks in the world. You can expect warm, clear water that is calm to be dived nearly everyday all year round.
• other dive sites such as wall Drop–Off, coral reef Sunrise, Kubu housereef. You can see any kind of fish, over 400 species lives over these places. Tulamben has distinguished itself from most other dive destinations in Bali by making a serious, long term commitment to preserve its coral reefs and fish life. This area is a must for all.
• possibility of visiting local village of Tulamben, lava stone beach, or beautiful waterfalls located nearby

7th day – Jemeluk Bay

• wall coral reef, slopes, a lot of fish and small sea slug, variety of coral growth, big gorgonians and sponges, gentle current, warm water
• anchoring at Jemeluk Bay

8th day – Gili Selang

• Selang Island is also very famous dive site of Bali, rocky beaches and deep, black sand slopes covered with gorgoniasand black corals, current – loving schooling – fish, and sharks
• drifting south across the outer cobbled slope of the island, xou sense the full, even alarming strength of the Lombok Strait, mostly colder water than at other dive sites
• night passage to Padang Bay

9th - Telok Amuk / Padang Bay

• diving at Amuk Bay, Jepun and Blue Lagoon – this is picturesque bay surrounded by majestic cliff hills, offers excellent diving with a great variety of marine life. White sandy bottom and exceptionally clear cool water with many species off hard coral plus numerous species of soft corals. A colorful reef.
• afternoon / night passage back to Benoa Harbour

10th – arrival at Benoa Harbour, Bali

• breakfast / lunch aboard, disembarkation and transfer to the airport or hotel (according to prior arrangements )

Itineraries are subject to change without notice due to sea and weather conditions, availability of safe anchorage and other factors beyond the company's control.
