The volcanic island of Bali is located some 8° south from the equator. Local culture is represented by charming dancers, temple ceremonies and loads of Hindu relics. Closeness of the equator prederminates the weather to be balanced, with temperatures about 31 °C and with drought periods (May- September) and monzun periods (October- April).

“The Isle of Gods”, as it is called, doesn´t even attain of 150 km, the inland is mountainous with 2 vulcanos- Gunung Agung and Nátur with like called lake.

Among the biggest temptations of the island are 400 km of wonderful beaches, sea temple Tana Lot or the bat cave in Goa Lawah. The good spirit of Barong is a characteristic symbol of the religious culture on Bali. It´s good to know, that when travelling to Bali, your passport needs to be valid for at least next 6 months.
